Hey guys,
Hope all is well. Re-opened my checking at Chase last week after 4 years, pulled the same info from my previous years as customer which was all good. Told them I would come back to app for the CSR. So, long story short, went in today with paperwork:
1) Income letter
2) Verification docs (license, bills)
Presented all of this to the banker while creating small talk. Manager was in the cube as well. Very efficient process.
APPROVED @ 22.24% APR (27.6K SL) and card will be here tomorrow.
CB: Pulled Experian (no other bureau) <-- Lost 1 pt. from inquiry
DP's when app'd
EXP 753 Bankcard 8 (740 FICO 8)
Income: six figures
2/24 when applied; now 3/24
AAoA: 8 years
1 new card 2 months ago CapOne Venture @30K SL
2 Cap One rebuild cards from 2009 (still need for credit age)
Overall pretty thin file: 3 Cards; 1 mortgage
Anyway, very happy with my second HL card. Will PIF and see if Chase will auto increase CLI in 3-6 months. Have a good week!
Thanks,
GL
That’s a sweeeet SL. Congrats! xaximus should chime in here lol
Congrats on your new card

Congrats on your approval as well.
I actually like in-branch because it takes care of all verification if needed and is seen by banker. No, they really did not do any verification. I had all the info upfront in a folder, but they didn't care...
Another reason in-branch was a great experience is because the card was already in my digital wallet by the time I left the bank and ready to use - rep expedited my card without even asking so it will be here overnight.
Primary use - International travel, etc.
Thanks,
GL
Nice! Congrats on your new CSR card and sweet SL!

I agree - in-branch approvals are usually best, and most often, they are solid. The DW had the card in her Chase app with in 5 minutes of the approval. Glad you didn't have to do any verification, the rep had to call and verify some info, most likely the income since its my income that shows on the DW's app. Glad it worked out for you and definitely a good card to get.
Yeah - I think the only thing that saved me from income verification was the fact that I brought an updated income ver letter from employer, which they kept for the files. Otherwise, all good in the hood.
Congratulations!
