I am from Canada and recently applied for two of Amex cards using Nova credit (that takes my Canadian credit history and recalculates the score and prepares the report for Amex). All online and both apps needed my US address verification. Income is from Canada at the moment.
I, first, applied for HH basic card. Then it went into pending address verification (after the initial phone call). Then I applied for the Green card. It also went into address verification.
After a day, I called in first about the Green card and approved after address verification. After a few hours, I called again for HH and followed the same to verify the address. This one is also approved and with a 2k limit.
Nova credit showed the score that they have shown to Amex and it was ~700.
I believe the limit on the HH is only 2K because
1. High credit utilization of 40% 2. On an income of 100K
Is 2K a good starting point for HH? Or is this a starting limit where I will have to develop the relationship considerably before receiving CLI?
