I took a chance today and after a lot of research on Cap One, I applied for a Cap One CC, well actually before I did I did the "Pre-Qualify" and it gave me the QuickSilverOne and Classic Platinum which I already have. So I applied for it and got approved for $1000. My TU was 636, and EQ 641 don't know my Exp.
I figured that my inquiry may not be visible and did the Credit pull and since I bank with Citibank, they also offered to "Pre-Qualify" you, when I did it, they stated I would qualify for the Simplicity, so I went ahead and applied just to get denied. Not sure what Pre-Qualify really means when they wind up denying you. I thought that you still get approved it just determines the CL and APR. but oh well. I am happy with the new card.
