I've been a Cap1 secured customer for a year, so I decided to see what the pre-qual site would show me. Both the Platinum and QS1 cards were suggested. I followed the advice given on the boards here and applied for both simultaneously (using two browser tabs) -- I got approved for the Platinum with a $2,000 limit, and I hit send on the QS1 app within about 10 seconds. When I hit "send" on the QS1 app, the page timed-out and when I tried to fresh it I got a 7-10 day message. Is this normal?? Should I call or wait?
QS1 -- does that matter?
QS1 has a AF, QS does not
AF??

Annual fee. For QS1 its $39
Got it! Anyone with thoughts about my original question?
Seems like others here have recently had the same experience you did when they attempted to app for two Cap One cards back to back.
You got both cards at the same time?
If this is true then that 1 card per 6 month rule is not officially a rule.
I applied for both the Platinum and QS1 at the same time based on the pre-qualify screen. The Platinum was instantly approved for 2K; the screen on the QS1 application went to black after I hit apply, and when I refreshed it, I received a 7-10 day message. I'm assuming the 7-10 message means the app transmitted. I guess the real question is, would Cap1 approve the Platinum and deny the QS1 even though I was pre-qualified for both?
I hoping someone has experience with this.
