I've been reading the myFico forums for a year now while rebuilding. Never posted anything until now, but I learned a lot and shared the info with other people in my circle. Now my current Fico 8 scores are 664Ex, 675, Trans, 687 Equi. Still have a long way to go. Current cards are Cap 1 Platinum with a ceiling of $500 (08/2018), USAA secured card $700 (07/2018), and Discover IT (11/2018) that just unsecured last month from $1,000 to $2,000. The $2,000 limit just posted on my credit reports today. I do the AZEO method and keep utilization under 9%, but most often around 1-2%. Income $120,000. No Derogatory Marks. Did the 12 month Self Lender and paid it off. No other loans now. A couple of old lates payments from other closed accounts. Inquires: 1 on Trans and Equi (both Cap1) and 7 on Ex.
My experience with Cap1. I had a $700 platinum a few years ago and I burned them. I also had a Cap1 auto loan that I paid off, but has a few late payments. I got approved for my 2nd Platinum, but I made good use of the card. Heavy spend and Paid in full before the close date. I check the Cap1 prequal often. Normally the cards they offer for me are Platinum or QS1. But, when I checked today I seen the QS, Savor, Savor1 and Venture pop up. All the offers had solid Interest Rates, no ranges.
I applied for the Savor1. Instant Approval. $7,000. I'm stunned. But, I swiped that Platinum card a lot. Spent $500-700 a month when the limit was only $200. Spent $1,000 a month with a $500 limit. All that stopped once I got my Discover, but I guess they remembered. I thank them for the 2nd chance they gave me and I thank the myFico community for all the knowledge I learned. I hope I provided some data points for the Savor1
Welcome To myFICO Forums and

Congrats on your Cap One Savor One approval and sweet SL!
Congrats! It's an excellent card and $7K is definitely not a bad limit!
