I finally got a Credit Limit Increase on my Capital One Quicksilver One Card. This is the first CLI I have received since getting the card in October 2015. Are you ready for the increase amount?

My credit limit went from a shameful $500 to a whopping $600. Yes, you read that right...only a $100 CLI. Credit Limit Increases are not my friend but I guess I should be happy to get anything since I have so many Chargeoffs and late payments. I even have 30/60/90 day lates on this account. I have been current without lates for the past 2 years.

Same happened to me with my QuicksilverOne.  500 -> 600.  Took nearly a week since they were trying to contact me first (fraud alert on my CR).  I didn't know the increase until I got off the phone with the rep and logged on.  Very disappointing.

Yea that seems to be the norm these days. Sorry OP. Hopefully you'll get better increases in the future.

It should not be that hard to get a CLI with them. I have 3 cards with with Cap One and this is my 2nd CLI at all of my cards. I got one last year after having the card since 2014.

@Harmony12 it shouldn't but I've learned to accept Cap One for who they are and how they work. QS card isn't going to grow, no need to drive myself nuts over it or be upset by the pitiful $100 increase offer. It is what it is. Its helping build positive payment history and I'll take that for now, once a year hits its getting closed. No hard feelings, just no thanks on these shenanigans. Good news is sooner or later both of us will be at a better place in our credit journey so this wont even be a bother. GL!
