Re: Capital One CLI

I opened a platinum in mid July with $1000 CL.  Got the auto CLI after fifth statement in December.  Transitioned card to QS in early March, applied online for a CLI and was denied saying there was a six month period between CLI.  Called exec office, three weeks ago, just got letter in mail today denying CLI again saying my account had a CLI too recently to increase.

Should I be trying a CLI every month until it works online, or should I just hold off until June at this point?  I want the CLI to hopefully boost my FICO as I'll be buying a new car in June.  Been running probably $3k a month through the card and paying it off a couple of times a month out of necessity.

Scores as of 5/18/16: EQ 674, TU 653, EX 635

Re: Capital One CLI

I would suggest to hold out til June. I have also heard that they only give increases every six months as well.
