Congrats! Why not just apply for a new card from Capital One? You probably get 10K from them.

There isn't one I want

It was very myopic of me to get one in the first place, but I suppose I get a free pass because I was 18. You live and learn.

Once I'm done apping for all the cards I want, I will app for another Cap1 and combine the new into the old.

I feel your pain. They tried to give me a $100 CLI on my regular QS. I’m like “thanks but no thanks”. Paid it off, cashed out my rewards and closed it. Haven’t looked back at CO.

As a rebuilder I would kill for that card and that CL.....have to wait on father time I guess

Historically in the past, when one was offered the $100 CLI online, and they "declined" it, they got a nicer one a few months later. Congrats though on the CLI. Just hang in there, it'll happen!!
