So I was on the fence about getting Capital One cards... but I finally pulled the trigger on this card and got approved for 10K. For a zero AF cashback card this one is a gem. I like how fast they post your rewards (2-3 days) and don't have to wait until your next billing statement.... and 3% on groceries, dining, entertainment and streaming with no annual fee looks pretty good to me. No FTF is also nice benefit. For everyday spend, I couldn't think of a reason not to get it.. so I added it to my cash back arsenal. The only negative is the hard pull on all three credit bureau's... and that's not going to kill me.
I just got the AOD Visa Signature last week.. so it looks like I'll be gardening for at least 6 months. I'm now sitting at 5/24.
Next on my list: Chase Business Ink Cash
Any recommendations if the Capital One Venture is worth it and if it pairs well with Savor One ? Still debating on that one.
Congratulations on your SavorOne approval
Congrats on your Savor One approval!
Congratulations on your Capital One Savor One approval!
Congrats on the nice approval!
Congrats on your Capital One SavorOne Rewards approval
@Live4FishingCongratulations! It's a good pull for the cashback.
Just had a decent discussion about the Venture card here: https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/Is-the-Capital-One-Venture-card-worth-it/td-p/6422960.
Seeing as you have the Pathfinder from PenFed, you may not love the Venture. I would argue the Pathfinder is better as the AF is waived with the Access America checking.
Congrats again!
@greatscott85 Yes... I agree it's worth the hard pull for this card.
I've pretty much decided to nix the idea of getting the Capital One Venture card. Just not enough incentive for me... even though the 60K SUB would be nice. It's not worth a spot in my collection since I'm currently at 5/24. I'll be doing some gardening for a while. I agree the Pathfinder is probably overall a better card since I have the Access America checking..
I'm hoping eventually that PenFed will allow you to transfer points from my PCR card to the Pathfinder just to add some flexibility. Last I knew they didn't allow that yet though.
Congratulations on your Savor approval!! 👏🏼🎉🍾
