So I applied for a Capital one thinking they would not approve me. But I really need a couple of credit cards so that I am able to get a payment history. And surprise they approved me for a secured card and I will pay $49.
I know with a secured card you put the deposit down and that is your CL. Is anyone familiar with Captial One and $49 deposit? Will they give $49 or a different CL? Just curious because I am unfamiliar with this.
Keeping utilization under 10% will let me buy $4 in amazon credit per month.

You should get a $200 CL with a $49 deposit with the ability to raise your limit if you deposit more
Congrats! Keep at it, you're scores will creep up and you'll eventually be able to get more cards with better SL's. You'll get there.
