Thanks! I've since SDed this card, and will probably close it in the next few months, as I've moved on to bigger and better things. But it was absolutely instrumental in getting me to the point where I'm at now. I love Cap One.

my scores are slowly climbing and seeing how youve grown give me hope. BTW whats SDed? and why would you close on eof your your longest line of credit? wont that make your score drop?

And no, aaoa will not be affected, as positive tradelines stay on your report for 10 years. The only hit I'd theoretically take is a UTI (utilization), but this should be a non issue, as I have since amassed enough of a credit pillow to absorb it.

So, this morning I woke up to an alert that an account has been updated. Went and checked and lo and behold, I had another cli on this secured card. This time for $500 for a total of $1050.
Funny thing is, I SDed this card MONTHS ago and haven't used it at all since the last cli.
Congrats, nothing better than waking up to a CLI
