Capital One Venture approved but no email or call

Hey everyone,

I applied for the Capital One Venture card and received a message to give them 7-10 days to review my application. I called the backdoor number and they told they approved me for $5000 and I should expect a call. I did not receive a call and I didn't receive an email about being approved either. Should I worry? Should I call them? 

Also I just applied today, but got a pretty good offer from Discover. Can I get multiple cards in the same day?

An approval email will be coming within the next few days..  Cap1 has a rule of one card every 6 months now.

edit: if oyu are asking if you can get a cap1 and discover same day or say a citi card you sure can assuming your profile can support it.

Capital One and Discover are not in any way affiliated, so apping for one has no bearing on the other.
