Capital One automatically Increased Limit on my Secured Card! Question!

I had a Capital One Secured Card for about 6 months, got it in May 2017. Had a limit of $400.

This morning, I checked my card and was wondering why I had so much available credit.

So I login and they increased my limit to $700!

Does this mean my card is now unsecured? Or is it still secured? Because I didn't get any e-mails.

Are there any steps I should be taking after this increase?

Congrats on the increase. It is still a secured (or now partially secured) card. My moms card was secured for 8 years before out of the blue they returned her $99 deposit....

You do not need to take any further steps.

As far as I know they either rarely graduate (most people close them out long before that happens) or yes, Capital One will decide its time to completely unsecure. My moms situation was years ago; 1998 she sent $99 and got a $1,000 credit line. And then randomly 8 years later they sent the $99 back LOL.

Absolutely! $300 is a great start and probably by next summer you will be moving on to bigger and better cards.
