I filed for BK 7 back in 12/2023 - discharged in 3/2024 . Rebuild started in March 2024 with Mission Lane 3k no annual fee (increased at 6 months to 4k) and Ally 1k 0% apr for 9 months. Navy Fed ssl started 6/2024 paid to 7%. Good start. So I am at 13 months post filing / 11 months post discharge and after getting my first myfico reports for the year (EQ 674 TU 650 EX 674) I thought I would lower my shields and try some pre-quals. Navy Fed hit me with the nRewards secured card, pass. Next went to Wells Fargo since I didn't burn them and I have a positive closed account with them still reporting...no dice. I had checked pre quals for Capital One last month and I got the polite letter saying "it's not us it's you". Figured as much since I got Discover for ~ 50k Since my shields were down and there are the DP's on this forum that Capital One forgives at 13 months I figured why not. Well Capital One did not disappoint. Got Quicksilver, Savor and Venture offers. Hit the apply on the Savor and got approved for 7k $200 sub for $500 and best of all 0% for 15 months and then the middle interest rate of 24.99% after. Back to the garden until April 2026 when the 0% ends and I will be at 2 years post discharge with all revolvers over a year old.

~ $1000 in the BK. Funny thing is I was "bucketed" to a cl of $6500 and always the worst interest rate before the BK.

Just a suggestion @CaneVariant to consider use of the mention/tag feature. It makes it clear who you are responding to. Just type the @ symbol and a list of users in the thread will populate, or you can type out their user name.
