Burned Capital One in a Chapter 7 last year. It was <$1000... so maybe that plays a good factor; but after building my credit score back to 650, I applied and was approved for a Platinum card with $1000 CL
This is the highest credit line I've ever received in my life. Pretty excited to get my score to ... 800?
Congrats!
If you use and pay your card it should grow with you as your credit recovers.
I burned Cap One for much more and 3 years later I have 50k CL and a $35k car loan at @ 2.49% with them.
Be loyal. Be smart. Make WEEKLY payments.
They will reward you.

Congrats! There are quite a few successful BK survivors on this board! You can truly be inspired!
Congrats
Congrats! I'm 1 of those post BK'ers that they have been real good to me. I had a reaffirmed car loan with them 21/2yrs perfect payments. Use it like crazy and PIF. It will grow. Started w/Plat at 2k. 15 months later 29k.

1) Congrats
2) Please be very careful, moving forward with your finances it pains me when you say Bk <$1000 and $1000 is your highest CL in your life
Meaning that if such small numbers has caused that much turmoil and the stess of BK and BK recovery it just worries me FOR you ( oh I'm a softie)
If you need any help or advice don't hestitate to ask...I can't bare to think of a sinking man/woman over relatively small numbers.
As mentioned by another poster prehaps it into the habit of weekly payments, such that nothing gets to out of arms reach ever again
Best of luck and again congrats on the COME BACK!
Thanks Gemini101 ... I appreciate that. It was over relatively small debt honestly, but where I am in my life, and where I want to be... time was not on my side. The amount I could put towards my debt monthly to pay it down, versus just taking the hit on bankruptcy just made sense to me. I cringe thinking about it too... especially when I listen to Dave Ramsey -- but what's done is done, and I'm definitely working to make things right.
My perspective on credit has taken a 180, for sure. I'm just looking to build my score, gain credit trust, maybe clear up my 'public' image a bit... and get a good interest rate on a mortage. I know it's going to be an uphill battle, but I'm trying.
It will also be nice to have the security of credit. I never considered it to be a safety net in the even something catastrophic happens that I don't have enough savings for.
Thanks for all the postiive replies!
Congrats OP on your approval! I was one of those who burned Cap 1 in BK7 and I burned them for quite a hefty amount, much more than you, They were my first card after BK7. Now, I hold two cards with them with a combined limit of close to $14K. Because of this, there will always be a place in my wallet for Cap 1, even as my profile gets better!

me too!
They gave me a chance too after I burned them.
$3000 a month after BK. Now I am at $50k plus car loan.
With 2% back (about $1500 back last year) and no issues, I will stay loyal.
Cap One gets a lot of heat, but they are a huge company.
Fantastic in my book.
