Its a card designed for health care. Can be used for docs, dentists, etc. Can also be used at vets. The provider of course needs to be signed up to take the card.

Re: CareCredit - $5,000.00 - Instant Approval

I opened my carecredit account in 2011, never asked for a CLI (bc its always a HP from what i hear.)... Well, I figured why not? I allready have 19 HPs this year, one more won't make or break me... a few days ago I called in to request the CLI, went from 1k to 3k, with minimal questions asked.  Yay for added UTI for my dental emergencies that always seem to arise with a family.  Smiley Happy  Smiley Happy ..

I can vouch for this. I asked for 10K and she said "We can do 7K". Worth a shot!

Re: CareCredit - $5,000.00 - Instant Approval - RECON'd to 7K!

Hi there coerciondotde! First of all, congratulations! The $7000 for care credit can go a long way, especially if used for dental care. Now my question is, do you mind sharing your AAoA? I would like to get some dental work done (about $5,000 worth) and am aiming to get approved for care credit but don't really think my chances are that great. My AAoA is a little over 3 years with my oldest accounts being student loans. I just got 4 credit cards (2 major, 2 commenity bank cards) within the last 3 months for a total credit line of $2,900. My TU credit score as of the beginning of December was in the low 700s and I currently have 3 HPs on file. Do you think I have a chance of getting approved? Thanks in advance.

Just got the Chase Freedom after a recon, felt lucky, was instantly approved for $5,000.00 (that's all I asked for) for CareCredit.

Pretty sure they pulled TU and it's sitting somewhere between 635-650. I have a few lates, too.

This is good news!  I need to apply but waiting for a few payments to post.  Can you tell me what your overall UT is at?

Re: CareCredit - $5,000.00 - Instant Approval - RECON'd to 7K!

Oldest account (AU) is 16 years and 7 months. AAoA is 3 years. I had several new cards in March. Util is showing 22%. Keep in mind I have a 6.5 YR old UNPAID collection and a few lates.

I think you have a great chance! Go online and select "I don't know which doctor, select Dental Work" and I'd shoot for the sky. Even though you only need 5K, put $10,000.00 on the application. It should counter. Or you can do what I did and put $5,000.00 and call the backdoor number to get increased to your internal limit. I liked this way because it's a human and not a machine deciding.

Post your results!
