Asked for my second CLI with Care Credit today. Original CL was $5K, first CLI in Feb was $1.5K. Asked for $1K today and was approved.
Have used it for a couple of dental proceedures and have utlized the 0% APR financing for 12 months. Its the only card I keep a balance on. Ill be paying it off in full this summer. Approval was fast, and more than 90 days after my last request.
I am curious however, as I have read on here that Synchrony can be touchy about CLI's and other credit lines. Any advice on how I should handle this going forward? Should I avoid future increases, or simply avoid getting other cards with Synchrony altogether?
It isn't a card I plan to use again anytime soon and I applied for it when I knew less about credit in general. However I want to keep the card and the CL to keep UTL low.
Here are my DP's at time of approval of CLI:
TU8/TU9: 739/721
Baddies: Bankrupcy Ch7 August 2012 (falls off this year), no collections
Payment history: perfect for 10 years on all accounts.
Total Available CL: $70.1K
CC Utllization: <4%%
DTI: 16%
AAoA: 7 years 8 Months
AoYA: 3 months

@CreditMagic7 @Any advice on how far to take my cli requests with synchrony?

@HeavyResist I was hoping you could fill me in on when to make requests. I been out of the loop 2 years and only recently putting things back on track again. Before it use to be good practice to give them 4 months and might still be the same. So i am in the same boat on that.
As far as how far to request, that's another unknown. maybe others could fill us both in on that.
@CreditMagic7 I have read so many DP's saying not to push one's luck with them, either with too many cards or to many cli's or they could dig deep and choose to terminate the lines. I'm going to do some digging this weekend and try to find some method to the madness. I want to maximize my cli's, without going over bird with synchrony. To be fair I won't be getting another card with them that I know of, but better safe than sorry. I'll tag you on what I've found and keep you posted.
