I'm glad I'm spreading the word for Chartway. They have been great to me. I have an auto loan with them.
They're my highest limit credit card. The website and app aren't bad either.

Congrats on your approval with Chartway FCU. I don't think I've ever seen anything posted about them.
Sounds like the process was seamless and pretty straight forward?
Denied card at 780 EQ fico a few months back. Obviously more goes into it then score, but said to much available credit or something along those lines
well it appears SJ also got in with quite a bit of credit.. Maybe they didn't like something else about me shrug? 350k approx in personal credit decent 6 figure income owed 5k approx on cc at time 1% utilization, etc... who knows
edit: found AA letter see other post later down
Congrats OP!
Oops my mistake found the AA letter..
Reason was couldn't verify idenity although they gave me membership which i no longer have due to dumb reason as no need for a CU if can't have access to credit products IMO. Reason behind it is I have had two residence in the last year. Well duh I bought a house and obviously had to move to house from apt i lived in for the two years prior to that. Wasnt too much credit I appologize. I think it was beteween the move and alot of available credit that gave them the scare.
Glad it is working for some though, just make sure you haven't moved recently and bought a house in the last year or two

I have close to $400K in available credit i may pass they may shoot me down 4 that.
Maybe, maybe not. But -- unlike many other credit unions -- they didn't say boo about my more than 500k in available credit, plus recent inquiries and accounts.

The second email i got today for membership has a laundry list of things they would take as evidence. Meh, i wish it were like my Langley experience ...
My "laundry list" consisted of a DL pic (which I had to resubmit) & utility bill, then pass 5 verification questions (mostly old addresses). Started it online Sunday & got the Approved email this morning. Not too bad.
Langley, on the other hand, not so much (I added the details to the CU thread).
Goes to show, as always, YMMV.
