Congratulations! @Outsiderdf . Have any DPs to share on this relatively unknown lender?

.... After I'd submitted my app for the savings & checking, guess what: there was a
message that I was preapproved for the credit card at 25k at 9.24%.

How did this preapproval come to your attention -- on the website? they sent an email? a private message?
I see the OP referencing his preapproval as well. I'm curious where it can be found and the timeliness of it. Does it come right away? A couple of days later?

It was on the website. In connection with statement that the savings and checking accounts had been approved, or that the applications had been successfully submitted, or something like that.

I was recently approved for membership, after a rather convoluted process (the WELCOME email was not the end of the process, I've since discovered) but wasn't pre-approved for any credit products. But in my case they haven't pulled my credit report.
Did both of you get credit offers without a HP?

Team,
Interesting turn of events. These people came back to me asking for income verification (still no HP as of this morning), which is fine, and sent it to them. They ended up denying my "instant approval" because they want to see me have the savings account for a bit. I ended up raising hell and closing my account. I also followed up with their Facebook page in the messenger asking them what the deal was and why you would treat consumers this way *chuckle*. I said, hey I didn't even want a credit card *chuckle again* and it said I was pre-approved so I went for it.
Just now the Customer Manager called me to apologize and said that my situation alerted them to something in the system that isn't right (sorry everyone), something about the verbage. He also said that they do pull Equifax, but mine still hasn't been pulled. They are offering me my savings account back also with the credit card back, although he said they have to run the numbers to see how much they would give me. I'll report back!
