If the last account that will take me down to 4/24 was listed as opened on July 1, 2017 on my credit report, would I be ok to app for a Chase card now or do I need to wait until August 1st?
I've looked into this before and datapoints suggest that they go by month rather than calender day so technically if your 5th youngest account is going to turn 2 years on 5/15/2020, you are good to go on 5/1/2020 no matter what bureau they pull.
MyFico readers suggest waiting a full month to be on the safe side which is sound advice but sometimes you need to pull the trigger early so you can get your card before a trip or big spend that has a due date.

I would always go with the option that ensures a smoother process when applying.. I would wait for August also check the prequal (Or for checkmarks if you already bank with Chase).
