The reason for the pending results was stated in the letter. It was because Chase needed access to TU. The underwriter did not mention anything regarding the number of accounts opened in the last 24 months.

Called in on Sunday morning (03/12) and the request went to pending. Recieved the letter today (0315) asking to unfreeze my TU report. Unfroze the report and called the number listed in the letter. After a small wait time and confirming income and housing the request was approved.
