Was doing the annual Christmas shopping, and was about to order a Surface Pro 4 for the DW when I saw the $70 offer for apping for the Visa Rewards card. I'm supposed to be in the garden, but I frequent Amazon, and $70 off a $1k purchase proved too tempting. Got the dreaded 30-day message (Friday night), called verification this morning, approved for $5,400.
