I got my Freedom card yesterday. I want to put $500 on it before the first month is out. and pay it off in full. Is that recommended or should I leave something on it?

Just went to Golden Corral and used it for the first time. I was feeling pretty goooood!

Good for you.  You can pay in full if you want to avoid interest being charged.
