After cleaning my credit and strategizing my applications, I made the decision to apply for the Chase Freedom 31 Days after getting approved for the Chase Freedom Unlimited to avoid some of the horror stories.

Income $60,000

Credit Scores at time of App:

EQ ~770

TU: 777

EX: 738 pulled from Chase 740 actually from EX report

Oldest Card: 16 months

Average was about a year due to new Chase opened last month

Util at App: 1%

Available Credit: $3,900 reporting, $10,600 with CFU not reported

INQ:

EX: 4 (Just noticed it should've been removed a month ago)

EQ: 3

TU: 3

No installment loans

Card Approved instantly with the same limit as the last card: $6,700, called received in mail 2 days later

As far as your inquiry removal goes, it's two years . They are not scorable after a year, though. 

You mentioned your oldest account is 16 months old, so unless inq was for something else prior to first CC app, you have 8-9 months left  depending on CRA  before it's completely gone.

Since your AAOA is a year and both your Chase cards were approved within a short timeframe, I would garden for at least 6 months to minimize any potential AA.
