Chase Freedom Flex Approval!!

I finally got my first Chase Credit Card. Though they only gave me $2500 which will make it my highest limit card other then my AMEX platimun that has NPSL. Does anyone know what the average CLI Chase provides automatically? I plan to ask for a increase in 6 months.

Re: Chase Freedom Flex Approval!!

It's a nice SL. Congratulations on your Chase approval!...  No one can predict what the average might be because it's based on your profile. Things such as your scores, utilization, income, payment history, and what they think your spending history with them warrants will determine how much they're willing to give you.

Some lenders, like NFCU as one example, don't seem to care how little you use their cards and they'll hand out $8k CLIs like candy. With Chase, the best way to increase your chances of better CLIs is to show them decent monthly spend and PIF. To trigger potential auto increases (at as soon as 4 months), show them significant monthly spend ( 50% to70% of CL), and PIF.

Re: Chase Freedom Flex Approval!!

Congrats on your approval! I have to look into the rewards for this card. What do you like about it?

I currently have a Freedom, Freedom Unlimited, and Amazon from Chase. I am looking to consolidate to only one card from Chase as I do not use all three enough.

Re: Chase Freedom Flex Approval!!

@mAtchew I mostly got the card for the SUBs which is are earning $200 bonus after you spend $500 on purchases in the first 3 months and 0% intro APR for 15 months from account opening on purchases and balance transfers. I have some balances that I want to transfer on to it to avoid interest fees. I think What I like about it is the fact that it has rotating catergories each quarter that earn 5% cash back. Then there is the 3% cash back on dining which I will use alot as my wife and I eat out alot. I beleive there is all 3% cash back on drug store purchases as well. There are other perks but those are the ones that caught my eye. I do plan to get the Freedom Unlimited next but that will be in the next half of the year. Eventually I want to get the CSP so I can complete the ChaseTrifecta.

Re: Chase Freedom Flex Approval!!

Awesome, that's a good card and it's on my list of cards to apply for in the future too. Congratulations!

The Flex along with the Freedom Unlimited both seem to be solid cards especially when you combine them with the CSP or CSR.
