Better than my Freedom Flex approval, they gave me a $0 SL for the new card. They stole limits from two other cards to patch together the CL for the Flex
Congrats on your approval, the spend bonuses are lots of fun on this card.
Congratulations on the Chase Freedom Flex approval, @gdale6!
Received the card today. Chase used something called The Card Acquisition Risk Score V2 (score 250-900) mine was 897 and that wasnt enough to get the lowest rate of 14.99 they gave me 16.99 with the first 15 mos 0%. Dont see any references to the spend $500 and get 200 SUB or the 5% grocery for a year.

There was no reference to 5% on groceries for me, either. Because it's a promotion, they don't feel like updating paperwork sent with the card.
In the app, there should be a progress bar for the SUB.

Now I wonder what they use? CBs only? Glad you shared this.
Off Chase but I asked for a CLI on one of my Citi Cards and they came back with their scores that run 0 to 2500. My score was 900+ and considered a risk. How? Always paid on time and over the last eleven years and carried an 850 (300 to 850 FICO 08) for five years. The score they use on their own website shows 886 (250 to 900). What gives?

The 5% CB for a year has changed with a new offer. So you may want to find out if you got the grocery or the new one which is 5% gas for a year
