I legit had no prior intention of applying to this card anytime soon as I already have the vanilla Chase Freedom card, *but* upon seeing the preapproval offer in my Chase account that was layered on top of the $200.00 SUB I just couldn't help but do it. Instant approval for a SL just above $16k.
Experian was pulled with a score just north of 800. I like that I can now layer the $1500 quarterly cashback of the Freedom Flex on top of the $1500 cashback on the vanilla Freedom for a $3000 combined total cashback per quarter. With this approval, I would not necessarily say that I am going into the garden, but I do think that I need to hold off for at least a couple of months before doing another app.
