Yeah, the prequal page had no offers for me. I have a bunch of balances reporting right now anyway so after I pay them down maybe I'll apply next month.

My wife tried to get that card last year and got turned down. They don't care how much you have in the bank with them, the fact that my wife and I have to be below 5/24 including AU accounts makes Chase cards a fantasy for me and and wife, but clearly anything is possible.

I'm currently in the same boat. I've been in the garden for over a year and a half, and I'll finally be under 5/24 in just over 2 months! Your story inspires me to hang in there just a few more months!

It's worth it! They want new clients and to push their new products but they won't compromise on that dang 5/24 rule.
