So, I was sitting in the garden, minding my own business...
Logged into Chase account (CSP) and I noticed an offer for a Freedom Unlimited. I've seen this offer come and go and just ignored it, but there was something different, or so it seemed. There was a 0% finance charge for 15 months and a single APR. No range. This seemed like the unicorn that people talk about. But I'm in the garden till 11/2020, I kept telling myself. However since I have taxes coming up and and trip oversees that I wanted to take later this year I thought it might help with other spending that might take up those resources. I also wanted to test the waters regarding the 5/24 rule. SInce I was 12/24 within the last 10 months, but this was a targeted offer.
So, I unlocked my CRA reports (just in case), I filled out the two data fields and hit the button thinking I'd get another 2-5K limit. Wasnt expecting this:
Now, I'm concerned that they'll take it back. Is that a possibility?
Data points
They pulled:
Total utility of 13% across all cards
Was 12/24 at time of app, 11 this year, last card opened in Nov 2018.
No other relationship with them other than the Sapphire Preferred.
I appreciate the information this site offers. Thanks
