Nice! Congrats to your buddy. Make sure he plays it cool with Chase for awhile now (no new cards) as there has been a string of posts on here of people getting their cards closed after getting more than one Chase card close together like that.

As others have said, tread lightly for a little while so Chase doesn't get spooked and rescind his cards down the road. While his profile is pretty solid, datapoints show that Chase will be SP'ing him quite regularly looking for a reason to kick the accounts to manual review.
