Applied for a Mileage Plus Explorer card yesterday and was approved with a $25,000 limit.
Facts:
Oldest account -- 1 year, 4 months (Wells Fargo Secured $4K)
4 other revolving cards opened 8 months ago (limits: $2K Discover, $6K Associated Bank/Elan, $5K DCU Visa, Amex Zync)
1 Amex Delta opened November last year with a limit of $10,000 (my highest)
FICO scores (via Equifax 3-bureau)
Equifax score: 741 (2 inquiry in 6 months/2 years)
Transunion: 714 (3 inquiries in 6 months/7 inquiries total in 2 years)
Experian: 709 (2 inquiries in 6 months, 11 inquiries total in 2 years)
It's interesting because....
I first applied for Chase Hyatt Signature Visa card and Chase Freedom cards last year and was denied due to insufficient history....
But $25K limit? Insane..

i heard if it's visa signature they don't!!! only the high balance!
Sorry I dont know about that, I have heard that Bank Of America doesnt report limit when its a Signature. But not sure of CHASE. Somebody will let you know.

I have the MileagePlus Club Visa Signature and the limit is reported.
signiture cards not reporting limits is a thing of the past, only a few companies don't if any at all anymore. Too many people complained years back.
