IIf it was your first Chase card, then the high CL makes sense. I applied for pers and bus SW cards and was approved for $20k each. I then applied for CSP and was approved for $5k, then United card for $2k.

I had the opposite experience. Freedom for $5500 first, then CSP for $29K.
