I can meet the direct deposit req. to meet the bonus. which is better for my purpose? Savings or checking. If it's checking, there will only be a single transaction every month... I do my banking through BOA
I doubt it matters much. I primarily bank with NFCU and opened a BoA checking when I had a targeted bonus offer. I never used it beyond the minimum requirements and keep virtually no money in the account. It didn’t prevent BoA from giving me a new Premium Rewards card or CLI on my Cash Rewards card.
