Yesterday I went in branch to apply for the elevated 90K in branch offer on the
Sapphire Preferred but there were no bankers on site. Made an appointment for today and went back and applied. I was able to get approved for $17,300! It was well worth the wait and small inconvenience of having to come back. This is my highest limit with Chase!
Application was a breeze and took about 20 minutes. The banker went through the application and was explaining everything as we went, otherwise probably would have taken 5 minutes.
I'm now back at 5/24 but thankfully this was the final card on my Chase wishlist! I was 0/6, 2/12 and 4/24 at time of approval! Usually with my Chase applications they double pull me with Experian and Equifax. So far I haven't gotten any notifications on my credit being pulled. I'll update this post later with that info. Experian was 825 and Equifax was 735 at time of application. Experian had 2 inquiries and Equifax had 4 inquiries in the last 12 months at the time of application.
***Update: Later today I got a notification that my Experian credit score had been pulled. Score went down 6 points to 819.
Less than 1% utilization being used across all my personal cards. My Chase Ink Unlimited's current utilization is at 57% and the Ink Cash was at 20% when I applied. Today's approval was 61 days since I was approved for the Ink Unlimited and 124 days since I was approved for the Ink Cash. So that's 3 Chase cards in 124 days. Nothing earth shattering just sharing for data of what's possible with Chase.
Congrats 🎉
Congratulations on the approval and nice SL!
Very nice SL and approval, congratulations on your new Chase Sapphire Preferred!
Amazing! Congratulations!
I couldn't find pre-approvals while in my Chase banking account, but when I completed the online pre-screening for cards, I was pre-approved for CSR, CSP, SE, and FF. We're buying a home and are therefore holding off on applying, but a Chase card would be a dream come true, so it'll be first order of business after we move in! 😄 Congratulations, again! 🎉
