Chase Sapphire Preferred Auto CLI

After my 6th statement closed with Chase, i noticed a very nice auto cli on my Sapphire Preferred card.  Went from 8k to 12.1k.  Didn't ask for it.  I wasn't even sure Chase was increasing lines without a call to CS and a hard pull.  I've used it heavily since i've received it back at the end of October 12', and have accumulated almost 90k ultimate reward points. Maybe we'll treat ourselves to a nice trip this summer.  But, it's nice to know that Chase is still looking out for us without asking for the increase

Re: Chase Sapphire Preferred Auto CLI

What was your spend on the card when your cl was increased? With 70K spend on our card and 770 credit score, no auto CLI for us...

Re: Chase Sapphire Preferred Auto CLI

Heavy usage is part of it, but I also think that whether you have "enough" in Chase's eyes is another factor. If you're running through 70k per year and have 30k in overall limits with them, they may give you an auto CLI. However if you have 100k in total limits and still spend 70k a year, they may look at it and say "your limits are high enough for your current level of spending. If your spending goes up even more, then we'll have another look at your limits then".

Re: Chase Sapphire Preferred Auto CLI

Yes, alot of usage. Probably in the 20-25k range these past 6 months. Also, the 40k bonus for 3/3 spend requirement.
