Called the number on the back of my CSP, I requested a CLI of $1,500 and was denied. I was transferred over to a credit analyst who told me that I was denied due to "card has recently had a credit limit increase". I spoke to the credit analyst and mentioned that I did move CL from my CFF in order to get my card to $10,000 so that I can upgrade to the CSR after year one. I mentioned my payment history, low utilization, income change, responsible use of the card, etc. The credit analyst took my information again (Gross Annual Income, Monthly Rent, Employment Status, etc.) and I waited 8 minutes. BOOM! Approved! $10,000 CL.
Backstory
September 29, 2020 was barely approved having gone through recon twice. Recon mentioned to me that I could apply for a CLI at anytime after my first statement if my credit report changed.
November 12, 2020 I was denied due too many opened accounts (6/24) at the time and the senior analyst told me that I had too many accounts under a year old. I decided to wait the 6 months.

Is this because not many people here want to take the HP for a CLI or because they usually get denied?
