I applied 9 days ago for and was hit with the 30 day message. I called the automated line daily (sometimes multiple times a day) and today heard that I would be notified of their decision within 7-10 days. Thinking it was a denial, I immediately called the reconsideration line. After some additional verification questions, I was approved for 19k starting credit line!!!! Literally almost a year ago I was in the low 600s (up from the 500s a few months prior)! Not too bad

I wanted to share for those of you hit with the 7-10 day message. It’s not always a denial - Sometimes they just need more verification!
