Hi all, I am a new member to the forums, but have been looking through them for quite some time for advice and info on just about everything credit related. You guys have been incredibly helpful in figuring out the whole credit game, and I thank you all very much for that.
I travel quite a bit and would love to have the CSR for all the great perks (and its a good looking card). My scores as of right now are
740 FICO from Discover scorecard
750 for both EF & TU from CreditKarma
AAoA is 2 years
Only two cards right now, Amex Blue Cash Preferred CL: 10,000 and CapOne Quicksilver CL: 1900.
Income: 50k
No missed payments or anything negative on my credit history.
I read that having a previous relationship with chase could help, and I have had a checking and savings account with them for about 6 years. I am worried that my short credit history is going to hurt my chances of being approved. What do you guys think?
Mod note: I've updated your subject to reflect your approval; feel free to change/edit if you would like. --UB

What are the balances on your cards?
How old is the Blue Cash?
I have an offer for the Freedom Unlimited, but it must be new because I never noticed it until just now.
Welcome to MyFICO
You stand a decent chance of being approved. I would just go ahead and apply. You may have to recon but Chase is good with that. In the end if you apply and are ultimately denied, it's not that big of a deal and then I would apply for either the FU or Freedom card, use it for 6 months and then reapply. Either of those cards pair well with the CSR in earning UR points.
