The early batch of card holders didn’t get a fancy box either I don’t think. I received mine last year in a plain white envelope.

There’s no reason for a fancy box anyway. It’s just more material to clog a landfill with.

Edit: oh right, it’s 2018 now. I got mine in 2016, not last year...

Remember that Chase had such an overwhelming response to the CSR that they ran out of metal cards and went to plastic. They claim to be loosing money on the product. Somewhere the budget has to be balanced Smiley Happy

APRs keep heading north. I remember back in 2015 when I got mine (started as a CSP) the APR was 15.99%. Now I am up to 17.24%.

It's due to the prime rate increasing, and it affects all cards from all companies that price APR based on prime rate.
