On the bright side, the PayPal limit is significantly higher which should give you more room to make purchase without fully utilizing your CL. (Your Citi Preferred looks like it’s at $450.). Also, the PayPal is 2% regardless whereas the DC is 1% then another 1% after the purchase is paid off. If you always pay in full, then they’re virtually the same. They both get SP CLI so that’s a wash.
I’m just trying to help you see the silver lining.
Yeah, Citi Secured $200 graduated last yr and converted to Diamond Preferred. Got back my $200 Deposit they gave me an auto CLI bump of an extra $250 making it $450. I was going to cancel it but thought I will keep it to build a great relationship with Citi in which resulted to bunch of other Citi Cards Prequal Mailer and just not the DC.
Thanks for the encouragement though..
Happy and Upset at the same time..
Was able to succefully convert my Citi Diamond Preferred to the Citi DC. Yay!
Nay, that I got denied for apping and wasted an HP. Oh well.. Just appreciate the task accomplished..
Thanks All.. and also Shout Out to PayPal.. lol

Congratulations to you on your perserverance! Plus kudos for using the forum. Peeps here know the answers because some of us have had the same experiences on just about any question that can be asked.
On the bright side, Citi DC is so much better than the Diamond, in my opinion.
Did you consider the PenFed Power Cash Rewards? 2% back, but you need 500 in the checking,....

I am with PenFed and I have the Visa Premium Rewards Card with SL 8.5K
Penfed had shut me down though... I spoke to an analyst and they told me they had given me the max line based on my income.. Not even a CLI consideration, they said for me to grow my limit my income needs to increase. I also did this when I had 0% utilization reporting.
Still love em though.. The easiest Card service to deal with..
I'm not sure if you're familiar with Blispay, but they offer an awesome card! I've currently had the card for about 4 months now. It offers 2% cashback on all purchases, no limit, and also provides 0% APR promotional purchases if paid in full at the end of 6-months of purchases over $199. So far I have not had any issues with this card, but I've heard that it is not very easy to get an increase on the card.
WHAT? That sucks man! Bummer, if you don’t mind me asking, what did you tell them your income was?

Also, did they want tax information? To prove your income?
