I got the dreaded 7-10 days message from Citi yesterday, and I just saw an email with an approval for $3000 Citi / AAdvantage Platinum card.

There's been a string of approvals for this card. Tried for another CITI card and was denied for inquiries.

Congratulations! ddemari that's why I'm nervous to pull the trigger on the hilton. I have a bunch of recent inquiries although I have a current citi relationship. Ugh decisions lol

Dave451985, I have about 22 inquiries over the past 2 years, but that includes mortgage and car refinance shopping. I think what helped me get approved was the American Airlines "store card" that I was approved for last year. That's backed by Citi as well.
