Just got a SP CLI on my CDP from $9,300 to $10,700. Woohoo! *sarcasm*
I will offer my congrats even though you may not be happy with a $1400 sp increase because to me, seeing as its not a hp cli, i would look at it as a bonus, $1400 you didnt have before. I can only wish Citi would show me some soft pull love but just goes to show not all creditors are created equal. Enjoy

I appreciate your congrats, and you are right. I just want this account to reflect my other accounts without a HP.
Congrats! Understand your logic, but a 15% increase is pretty good. I don't even think a single HP would get you where you want to be. I want my second Cash+ to be equal to my first and US Bank won't give me anything even with an HP.
It's nothing personal. Citi is well known for $1400 CLI's.

Congrats. It may not seem like much, but that's pretty standard for Citi SP CLIs. If you want your head to swirl over a CLI from Citi, you'll need to take an HP. Or just plug away every 6 months and inch your CL up with SP CLIs.
Agreed $1400 may not seem much but it was a SP
Have to take a HP for the big ones.
Congratz either way.
I hope to get my $1400 every 6 months.
Look at my SM or AARP card

Congratulations, revjamesl!
A $1,200- $1,600 CLI on a SP is actually fairly standard for Citi. If you'd like more, you can consent to a HP and see the direction in which that takes you.
I'm not a Citi fan, but your CLI is still 3X what Discover typically gives me on a regular basis
