Good for you. Round of TP for the rest of us?
Thanks everyone! I love these lenders that let you put in for the soft pull CLI's every so often! Gives you something to look forward to and makes you feel like you're making progress.
@Anonymous, I know, right? I don't have a huge household but I buy their TP by the case since it's a great bargain and I have room to store it! When the big coronavirus "Panic Buy" hit, I was in fine shape for weeks while everyone else was scrambling!
Congratulations on your Citi Costco CLI!
Congrats @Aim_High on the CLI.
Question for you - you mentioned getting denied by Citi and now approved for CLI.
How long between both? I was denied for a CLI for Citi/Costco April 21st.
What would be the standard time to try again?
Congratulations!

@Gmood1 Nice signature!
Thanks my friend. I forgot how much trouble it is, to set one up! lol
Jeeezzz! I won't delete it again! Way too much time goofing around with it.
I'll app for two more tradelines to round it out. lmao

@Gmood1 On mobile it fits perfectly. On desktop, yeah it's missing two. However, I don't think you'll stop at two.

From my experience, with most lenders who allow Soft Pull CLI requests (including CITI), getting a denial doesn't restart the clock. In other words, there's no waiting time and you can literally ask 100x in a week if you wanted. (CITI, Capital One, Bank of America, Discover, ...) I wouldn't recommend that, though! I think they do see how often you're asking and you don't want to be a nuisance or look desperate. Plus, odds are nothing changed to ask right away, so it would likely be another denial. I honestly thought it hadn't been long enough (about a month since I asked) and that enough hadn't changed but I hit the button and got lucky. I guess those "new" accounts had gotten a little older and it was enough to help.
So if you know what the issue was, you can wait for that to age off. If you don't know what the issue was, you might try again in about 30 days. Once approved, I believe CITI's limit for another one is six months. (*I set a reminder for November 10th! Lol)
