Citi Costco Credit Line Increase

A month ago, Citi Costco increased my credit line to $24,000. I thought, why not ask for another CLI. I hit the request and they raised me to $35,000! My current FICO score is 848 out of a possible 900. I will never use more than $10,000 but I was surprised they gave me a CLI! Now my total credit is over $125,000. I think this is enough. I am content.

I recently ended a 19 year 'affair' with Capital One because they wouldn't remove a $5 monthly fee on a card with no rewards. I was stuck at $6,250 CL. So I sock drawered it. In 2018 I joined Navy Federal Credit Union and now hold two of their cards with great rewards. Those two cards are getting the majority of my spend of about $8,000/month.

The only Citi card I have is that Costco card. Is this a soft pull increase or a hard pull? I have been at 9500 for a couple years and it's my smallest limit currently.

It is a sp unless there's language saying specifically that it will will be a hp.

Go for that increase @CoSprings99 - you’re overdue! I got an increase to $11k three months in (from $8500). It was a SP (they’ll tell you if a HP is required).
