I decided to apply for the custom cash card because I wanted to take advantage of the 5% cash back on my highest spend category. Originally I was going to apply for the venmo credit card because I got a notification saying I was preapproved but I thought why not try to get the better card that follows the same rewards design. I ended up getting approved for a starting limit of $4500 at 19.99%, not a super high limit but I hope that it will grow.
