Citi DC CLI (4.6k to 6.1k SP)!!!

My current credit line is: $6,100 January 1st, 2017.

My starting credit line was: $4,600 July 1st, 2016.

First CLI: January 1st, 2017. $4,600 --> $6,100.

CLI was soft pull.
Spent $1,000+ and Paid in full every month.

This is my first CLI for Citi and it was a soft pull, I got the text that said no credit report would be obtained. I got my Citi DC on July 1st, 2016 and my CLI today January 1st, 2017. Happy New Years to everyone. I was given a 1.5k increase and my CL is now 6.1K.

When I applied for my first credit card (Chase Freedom, $500 CL) over the phone on Dec 2014, I never thought all my CL's would get to be 5k or more. I never thought I would have made money from sign up bonuses, rewards and cash back. I never thought I would be able to add family members as AU's and rise their credit scores and help them. Learning how to manage credit cards properly is surely a great thing to do. I will also always continue to thank the MyFico forums for really letting me see how it all works.

A Big Thank you to everyone that posts or reads.
The more you learn the better chance you'll be able to help someone in the future.

Wow, I really appreciate this journey. It's really all about patience and stickying with a game plan.
It's been a little over 2 years and I've came so far in my understanding and milestones.

At this point, I don't really need anymore credit cards. It all comes down to if I want to chase sign up bonuses or not.
Or if I want to add relatives as AU's or not. Well I wish you all the best with your journey's.

Congrats on the CLI

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Yeah the Citi DC is my favorite all around card, I put a lot of spend through it, so having a higher limit is great. Anything over 5k is more than enough for me, but in 6 months i'll ask for more anyways to keep things progressing.
