Some of us have recently posted that we were getting SP verbiage on our Citi DC cards but we're being denied or requests weren't going through.
I stayed persistent (like a good little myFICOer) and it paid off.
$1,600 CLI via SP. Last increase was a year ago.
Still no SP verbiage on Simplicity or AAdvantage, but I have hope. and patience!
Congratulations!!
Good deal.
Both my Citi cards are still not being increased at this time (DC is past 6 months schedule) but I am just going to assume that it's because of this summer's mega-spree I went on.
However, like you, i'll keep on trying. Maybe next month.
Congrats!

That's a great SP CLI for Citi! Congrats!
6 months on my AAdvantage card will be this week. Sixth statement will cut on the 26th.
Here's hoping!!!

How long did you wait to try again?
I'm curious because I'm in the exact same situation. For the first time in the almost 2 years I've had the card, I got the soft pull language. But when I pulled the lever, all I got was an instant denial.

Once I saw the verbiage I tried every other day or every third day. Took about 10ish days for it to go through.
Truth be told I thought it would go through eventually because when I recently checked prequals I was pre approved for every card at best terms.
I think Citi likes my file again because my HPs from past 12 months are down to 2 or 3 on my reports.
