I've been wanting to add a Mastercard to complete my cards and have been eyeing the Citi Diamond Preferred for several months now. I app'd for it today and was instantly approved for 6,000.00 I really thought the card was out of my league for some reason but obviously not! I know it's not a rewards card but it's 0% interest for 18 months and I plan to transfer a balance over to it in a few months to keep 0% interest going on a purchase I made. Citi must be alittle strange at times because I called them last week for a cli on my shell card and they said no....that credit limit sits at 600.00....lol
Nice! Congrats!

What were you scores? Aaoa? Util?
Citi pulled EQ and it said my score was 740. I have no idea what my aaoa is.....all my accounts have been opened in the past 12 months. I do have a mortgage still showing up on EQ that was pif 10 years ago so that factors in some I guess. My overall utility is 8% right now.

Stop trying to be modest snowkitty, that mortgage account "paid as agreed" definitely helps alot. With that score and history, you're in a great position! Lol, keep up the good work and congratulations!
