I received the card in July. Yesterday, I paid off a balance transfer I had done and today noticed the "luv" request. It showed as a soft pull, so I thought "what the heck". Instantly approved! $8,900 to $12,400. Considering I've only had the card 3 months....I'm pleased! I thought 6 months was the benchmark. Love this forum!
Congrats! While Citi requires 6 months between CLIs on a card (unless you specifically request a HP 2nd opinion after receiving a SP CLI), many of us have had success getting the first CLI on a card at the 2 to 4 month mark. The SP wording will probably stay there, or at the very least come back well before you're actually eligible for the next one. If you hit it on accident, it doesn't reset the clock.
