My first mainstream card since the rebuilding began 1.5 years ago. I received the letter yesterday, and researched this forum. Everyone said the letter was a solid offer, and that was my experience too. I've tried the pre approved website, no luck in the past. I also cold app'd 5-6 months ago and was declined.
I received 0% for 18 months, then 20.24%. SL is $4,500, not quite as good as my $20k venture, but better than my $1k Barclays, lol. This is very timely as I had a $2,000 emergency vet bill over the weekend, so I'll transfer this over from my Cap1 venture.
I've gone through a bunch of the subprime cards, Cap1, Merrick, Barclays, etc......glad to be back in the majors. Since I burned Chase with a foreclosure 7 yrs ago, and BoA charged off a large cc, Citi is probably my only option for a while as Discover and Amex declined me a couple months ago too.
Now for for the stats: All 3 scores in the 660-670 range, one $200 medical collection, and a settled tax lien still showing.
Total CL: $321.7k | UTL: 2% | AAoA: 7.0yrs | Baddies: 0 | Other: Lease, Loan, *No Mortgage, All Inq's from Jun '20 Car Shopping |
Congrats on the approval !!!
